The Weekend

I know we had a great week end. . .Friday night we went searching for hand wheat grinders - no luck - sold out but on back order - we put our name on the list! We stopped by the Idle Isle Cafe in BC and had a great dinner though. It's been years since we ate there - only disappointment was that they moved their chocolates across the street - so the temptation wasn't great enough to walk that far. . . what's wrong with me? Saturday we spent the afternoon building square foot gardening boxes in M.'s back yard. We better hurry - growing season is here - really. In fact we got sunburned -Yeah! That means the sun is actually shining! Okay - but it's been a loooong winter. Sunday, after longer-than-3-hours at church, we had dinner, scoped out a neighbor's square-foot garden (very inspiring because hers is actually growing green stuff) and then back to M & D's to eat burgers from the grill with our kids from Murray and L. who rode her bike over (how many miles is it?) Fun times!!!
